Who We Are
Soroptimist International, which consists of Soroptimist International of the Americas, Soroptimist International of Europe, Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Ireland, Soroptimist International of the South West Pacific, and soon to be Chartered SI of African Federation is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls. Our network of around 72,000 club members in 121 countries works at a local, national, and international level to Educate, Empower, and Enable opportunities for women and girls. Soroptimist International of Los Banos is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas.
Our Work and Impact
Our years of experience working with women and girls have taught us that education is the key to unlocking the economic empowerment of the world’s women and girls. When women and girls are educated, they have the opportunity, choice, and power to make healthy decisions for themselves and their families.
How We Do It
Our Dream Programs are primarily delivered locally by our clubs and members in 21 countries and territories. They provide the muscle and on-the-ground work that make our programs come alive. Soroptimist International of Los Banos is actively involved with the Dream Programs.
